The West Philadelphia Community Center (WPCC) is a two-story, fully accessible, 40,000-square-foot facility at 3512 Haverford Avenue that provides services for the pre-K child through the oldest adult. WPCC includes a large community room/cafeteria, commercial kitchen, full-size gymnasium with stage, competition swimming pool and various class and meeting rooms. Programs at the WPCC include:

Early Learning Center. WPCC provides high-quality early childhood education for children ages 1 to 5. The WPCC Early Learning Center participates in Pennsylvania's Pre-K Counts program for children 3 years old and up. We welcome TANF and State Child Care Subsidy. For more information, contact the community center and ask for an appointment to tour the Early Learning Center.
Boys & Girls Club. The WPCC charter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) provides after-school and full-day summer programming for school-aged children, ages 6 to 17. Activities include tutoring; "Power Hour" homework help; "Project Learn" high-yield learning activities; arts and cultural activities such as drawing, painting, music and dance; athletic and recreational activities such as swimming, basketball, volleyball and kickball; computer activities including computer use, Microsoft programs, internet safety, digital arts and music editing; life skills including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America SMART Moves® program; and special programming developed around holiday themes, current events and youth performances. Activities are supplemented with occasional educational and recreational trips throughout the region. All youth receive a healthy after-school snack during the school year and a healthy breakfast, snack and lunch during the full-day summer programming.
Boys & Girls Club Teen Center. Teens have a dedicated Teen Lounge at WPCC, furnished with computer stations, a TV and comfortable furniture, where they enjoy hanging out with friends and participating in a wide variety of activities and programs. Educational, artistic, athletic and recreational activities, in addition to community service and leadership projects, provide productive entertainment in a safe environment. Teens also prepare for future success on regional field trips and by participating in regional and national BGCA programs and conferences including "Youth of the Year," "Keystone Club," "Career Launch," "Goals for Graduation," "Money Matters," and others.
WPCC Older Adults Program. WPCC provides a wide range of activities for older adults 55+ including recreation, athletics, swimming and water aerobics, exercise, meals, trips and a variety of social services on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
